Run by Knut and Else
Kvisvik Camping is a small site right down by the fjord. We answer the phone ourselves, and we are the ones who meet you when you arrive.
The site sits on the outer part of Sunndalsfjorden in Tingvoll municipality, with the E39 just next to it. Many people stop here on their way along the coast, and many stay a few extra nights to use the site as a base for trips in the area.
- Family-run. You talk directly to the people who run the place.
- Dogs are welcome.
- The fjord right outside, with fishing access.
- Playground for the kids.

We do not sell luxury. We sell a spot by the fjord with what it takes to stay a few nights.

The sanitary building is an older one. It is basic, but you will find toilets, showers, a kitchen, a washing machine and a tumble dryer there. If you have a question about something specific, call us before you come.

A base for day trips
Both the Atlantic Road (Atlanterhavsveien) and Trollstigen can be done as day trips from here. Head out in the morning and come back to the fjord in the evening.
Kristiansund, with its airport and the Hurtigruten coastal ferry, is under an hour away.
